API changelog
Significant changes to the ClimateCamp platform and APIs, newest first.
May 2026 - Forecasting & Reduction (preview): Introduced a preview of forecasting and reduction planning - model future emissions trajectories and build data-backed reduction plans. For sustainability teams: test decarbonization scenarios and prioritize the reductions that move science-based targets fastest, before committing budget.
April 2026 - Supplier indicators, reduction levers & initiatives: Added supplier sustainability indicators and a library of reduction levers and initiatives, with support for the CO2 Performance Ladder and BSR catalogs of measures. For procurement and sustainability: compare suppliers on standardized indicators and act on a ready library of proven reduction measures. March 2026 - PACT v3, PCF & expanded APIs: Upgraded the Data Exchange API to PACT Technical Specifications v3 and deprecated v2; added product carbon footprint (PCF) calculations; and extended Activity Data upload and Emission Factors management via the API. For reporting specialists: exchange audit-ready product carbon footprints with customers and suppliers on the latest interoperable standard, and calculate PCFs in-platform. Reference: PACT Technical Specifications v3
November 2025 - Supplier matching & data export: Launched the supplier matching service to connect organizations with suppliers across the network, plus data export functionality for activity data and results. For procurement and reporting: reach the right suppliers faster and pull verified data into your own reporting and BI tools.
2024 - Activity Data API v1: Released v1 of the Activity Data API - submit and query primary activity data, emission groups, organization units and units. For reporting teams: automate ingestion of primary activity data, the foundation of credible Scope 1, 2 and 3 accounting, instead of spreadsheets. Reference: GHG Protocol Corporate Standard
June 2023 - PACT v2 conformance: Achieved conformance with the PACT (Pathfinder) Technical Specifications v2, enabling standards-based exchange of product carbon footprints. Early proof that ClimateCamp data exchange meets the industry interoperability standard for sharing product carbon footprints. Reference: Partnership for Carbon Transparency
